LAST RESPECTS AND SMALLS TALK - 2 ONE-ACT PLAYS were presented at Freckleton Memorial Hall on the 28th and 29th September. Due to unforeseen circumstances a member of the cast of SMALLS TALK had to drop out a few weeks before the production and was replaced, when that person was told by her doctor not to perform we thought a cancellation was on the cards. A further "stand-in" was found and we are forever indebted to her for her help and assistance - and for learning the majority of her lines in just over a week. LAST RESPECTS by Colin Calvert Henry Throgmorton (deceased) has decreed that a wake should be held in his honour at the funeral parlour. The guests, previously unknown to each other, are his wife and his two mistresses... SMALLS TALK by Sue & Clive Read After the break up of a marriage there's a need for Emma to revamp herself, or at least so she's told by her friends. What better place to start looking at this than a "naughty knicker" party arranged by one of her friends....
