M'NANGO VALLEYSaturday 5th May saw Harlequins committing and assisting in yet more murder at Warton Village Hall. After hearing about our successful Murder Mystery Night we were approached by a young lady to present our evening again to help her raise money towards the Peru Trek Challenge. We were more than delighted to accept the challenge ourselves, and once again presented our views on M'NANGO Valley to a packed hall. We wish Lynda Garbutt well on her Trek and hope that they manage to build and kit out the school at the end of it. Murder is the theme for group's debut productionMurder Mystery, WartonIt's murder most horrid as the Harlequin Player's prepare for their first production, a Murder Mystery evening. The Kirkham and Wesham amateur dramatics group was formed in June 2006 and is now taking to the stage for the first time. Adventurer and explorer Oregon Smith is opening an African Theme Park with the support of his newly acquired wife, Tanya, a newly appointed Park Manager Rick Adams, Lady Daphne Stockgrove as well as ambitious Tory Councillor Jane Wilde. However Murder will happen during the evening. The audience will have the opportunity, if they wish, to question suspects, or just sit back and enjoy the evening. Everyone gets the chance to declare who they think should be convicted and why, with a prize for the correct solution. The events unfold at Warton Village Hall on Saturday, February 17 starting at 7pm with a bucks fizz reception for all those that would like to attend. Tickets must be bought in advance and are only £5 including a hot pot supper and apple pie and remember to BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle).
