Our Mission
The objects of the society are to educate the
public
ProfileWe currently have about twenty members of the society and, as most drama groups, we are always on the lookout for new members. If you are interested in joining us please pop along to one of our Sunday evening meetings. These take place at 7.30pm almost every Sunday in Warton Village Hall, Warton, Preston, Lancashire. Drop us an email to check that we are meeting on the night you are thinking of attending. We are members of the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA). We have presented no less than EIGHT events in our first 10 months of existence, which as you can guess for a small group is no mean feat. All our productions have been well attended and appreciated by all those who were there, whether this is down to the glass of bucks fizz or the refreshments we have provided, or our acting skills, we don't know but we hope it is a mixture of both. There was an acute lack of Amateur Dramatics Societies in the area we decided to start our group. True, there are many Theatre Groups or Operatic societies but there seemed to be a gap in the local market for a Drama Group, we stepped in and we're hopefully now filling that local gap.
